Emeryville, CA — Nady Systems recently announced the introduction
of their new Wireless Podium Mic (WPM) Series featuring the WPM-1V VHF system
and the WPM-2U UHF system. The WPM Series offers the convenience and multiple
advantages of wireless operation, making these systems often the most practical
choice for many podium, lectern and conferencing applications. Both systems combine a durable, high-quality unidirectional adjustable boom condenser mic with either a VHF (174-216MHz) transmitter — the WPM-1V, or a UHF (470-510MHz) transmitter — the WPM-2U. Both models use a rugged, balanced stand base. The WPM-1V system is supplied standard with the Encore 1 receiver, but the WPM-1V microphone transmitter can be used with any Nady VHF receiver on the same frequency and can also be ordered separately, as a combined system, or part of multi-channel systems. The unit operates on a single 9V alkaline battery. The WPM-2U operates only with a Nady UHF-3 receiver on the same UHF frequency and is sold as a combined system. This model uses 2 x AA alkaline batteries Up to 8 WPM-1V's and 6 WPM-2U systems on different available frequencies can be operated together simultaneously for desktop conferencing and related applications requiring multi-channel setups. The WPM Series will begin shipping July, 2004. |
