Emeryville, CA Nady Audio has announced the addition of 3
new condenser microphones to its current popular line. The SCM 800 features
a large diaphragm, true condenser, FET preamp design. The TCM-1150
is a versatile, powerhouse tube condenser microphone. The SPC-25
is a handheld electret condenser. All are ideal for a broad range of recording
and broadcasting applications and the SPC-25 is also perfect for
sound reinforcement applications. The SCM 800 has transformerless low-noise/high-dynamic range output, high SPL capacity, cardioid polar pattern pickup, and rugged internal shockmounts. A state-of-the-art condenser microphone, the SCM 800 provides the accurate, no-compromise sound reproduction of a high-end studio mic at a fraction of the cost of competitive models. The TCM-1150 is loaded with features. Its gold-sputtered 1" dual diaphragm and tube preamp provide the ultra-transparent audio reproduction and warm sound of a classic tube micperfect for even the most demanding vocal/ instrument pickup applications. With 9 polar patterns (omnidirectional, cardioid, figure 8 and 6 intermediate stages) easily selected from the power supply, and an easily replaceable plug-in 6072 vacuum tube, the TCM-1150 is exceptionally simple to operate. The SPC-25 features a high sensitivity, cardioid pickup pattern with ultra gain before feedback, minimal handling noise, and smooth tailored sound reproductionperfect for all stage and recording applications. The SPC-25 operates on a single internal AA battery with no phantom power required.
