Emeryville, CA - Nady Audio recently announced the introduction of 2 new speaker lines, the P-Cab Series and the PA Series, both offering superior performance, state-of-the-art versatile design, and unprecedented affordability. With internal amplification as well as all of the premium features of Nady's popular M-Cab Series speakers, the new P-Cab Series also adds the convenience of an active speaker system. The PCS-12 (the first P-Cab model to be introduced) is a full-range, 2-way active 250W bi-amped speaker with 12" woofer, 7" x 12.5" titanium horn, and mineral-loaded polypropylene trapezoid speaker enclosure. The PCS-12 also features the following: durable, compact, lightweight construction; flexible design-flyable, stackable, pole mountable, or usable as a floor monitor when laid on its side; internal bi-amplified power system delivering a total of 250W; built-in mixer with selectable Mic/Line XLR input and mixed output; treble, bass, and volume controls; and fused IEC power cord jack.. The PA Series
Speakers-the PAS-10 and PAM-10F-are full range, 8 ohm,
2-way speakers with a 10" woofer, 3" x 7" horn, 1.75" piezo voice
coil, and 120W program power rating. The PAS-10 is housed in a conventional
speaker cabinet; the PAM-10F is a floor wedge monitor speaker. Both
models share great sound and projection as well as the following:
rugged, compact, lightweight cabinets; base mount inserts for speaker
stand mounting; 92 dB sensitivity; and 1/4" jack inputs. "We've been
encouraged to expand our line of speakers given the enormous popularity
of our Pro Power, M-Cab and THS Series, " commented John Nady, President
of Nady Systems. "Given the performance, features, and unprecedented
affordability of our new lines, we're looking forward to filling an
important niche in the market." The P-Cab and PA Series speakers will begin shipping in the Spring of 2002. |
