THE DKW-1
|
Emeryville, CA--Nady Systems, long recognized for pioneering developments in the realm of wireless microphones, recently announced the addition of a new, low-cost, high-band VHF wireless system--the DKW-1. The DKW-1 is an entry level wireless mic system designed primarily for a variety of everyday singing and speech applications, including karaoke and recreational singing, as well as use by DJ's, auctioneers, teachers, aerobic instructors, clergy, and others. The DKW-1, available with either a handheld or bodypack lavalier transmitter, is being offered at a breakthrough new low price for a pro wireless system, although the system is loaded with features: companding circuitry for a wide dynamic range with no overloading; 250-foot typical operating range; full audio frequency response from 40 to 20,000 Hz; unique design mini portable receiver with large LED indicators for power on, transmitter on, and audio peak; and special power on/off "pop"-noise eliminating circuitry. "The DKW-1 is the perfect entry level wireless," commented John Nady, founder and President of Nady Systems. "It really redefines the price/performance boundaries of affordable professional wireless, offering clear, transparent audio at an unbeatable price. We think the DKW-1 will make wireless a lot more accessible than it has been in the past. Nady has always been committed to providing the best product at the best price and the DKW-1 is certainly another good example of this long tradition." The DKW-1 will be shipping in August 2000. |
