Emeryville, CA--Nady Systems, wireless microphone pioneer and manufacturer, is rapidly expanding its line of audio equipment, Nady Audio, to include power amplifiers, several new mixers, new hardwired microphones, and rack gear. This recent expansion follows Nady's introduction earlier this year of a new line of specialized professional audio products including powered mixers, rackmount and console mixers, DJ mixers, and graphic EQ's.

The new stereo amp line is full range and includes models ranging from 150 W/ channel @ 4 ohms to 1000 W/ channel. There is also a 4 X 150 W amplifier. The new line of hardwired mics will feature new additions to its current StarPower lineup of dynamic vocal mics, new specialized drum mics, new boundary microphones, and several new models of studio mics suitable for most any critical recording and broadcasting applications. The new rack gear is extensive and includes compressors, crossovers, sound enhancement processors, and power line conditioners.

Although Nady has long been known for diversification into areas such as telephone headsets, motorcycle communicators, and large area assisted listening devices, the new Nady Audio line represents a commitment to expansion and diversification within the Pro Audio industry. "As we always have in the past with our other lines, we intend to continue offering our traditional price/performance advantage with our new line of audio gear," commented John Nady, President and founder of Nady Systems. "We realize that there are a lot of competing models already in the market, but customers recognize quality and value when they see (and hear) it, and that's what our new line represents. The initial response to the line has been excellent, and although we're mostly known for our wireless, this line has already generated a lot of excitement. The expanded Nady Audio line will begin shipping in the first quarter of 2000. Further additions to the line will be announced in the first half of the year.
